Season Ticket Freeze

The Club has announced that season tickets for next season will be frozen, due to delays in completing stadium.

At least they are trying to get supporters back on side with something positive. ST holders, are you happy with this announcement?

On a separate subject Bentaleb has been told to play with the U23's at Schalke for disciplinary reasons.....................seems Poch knows what he is doing

Happy it has been frozen. It would be cheeky as fack to up the prices. Could you imagine the uproar?!

If anything, current ST holders should receive a discount for the sheet we've been through the last 5-6 months.

Whilst I sympathise with Season Ticket holders at not being able to get into the stadium at the promised time, it affected us all, and I am not looking for compensation, it was not as if you did not actually get your money back, if you did not attend any matches. So I don`t see what the problem is really. Not as if you lost money. I wouldn`t imagine the cost of going to Wembley would be more than the cost of coming to WHL, they are both in the same zones.

As Sandy doesn't have an ST, his opinion is irrelivant.

He didn't have to part with over £1,000 last year with the promise that we had played our last game at Wembley. Had I known our first game wasn't going to be April, I would have seriously considered not parting with that much cash...

Also, travelling Wembley increases my journey time by an hour and 20 and costs over double opposed to travelling to WHL (it is one train journey for me and no underground). I put up with it for a year at Wembley to get a Season Ticket for this season.

Sandy's geography is well off. Tottenham is in North-East London, Wembley is an hour and 15 minutes away to the west (Over 12 miles away). OF COURSE THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN TIME AND COSTS

You didn't have to fork out £2200 in advance in the form of an interest free loan Sandy.

If you went to Wembley, it may have actually been a cheaper ticket than the original ticket at WHL. If you didn`t go, then the club gave you the money back for each game unattended. So no way would you have lost money.

Well every season ticket ever brought is an advanced sale, so not quite sure what you are getting at. You will have to do the same next year, and the year after. You choice mate if you want a season ticket.

Oh and yes some may have been inconvenienced with the travel, but if you live on the North West side of London, then it would have been easier. Swings and roundabouts, not every supporter comes in by just one train to WHL, or Northumberland Park, plenty of supporters have difficult journeys to get to WHL as much as it was to get to Wembley.

Sandy, Spurs took an interest free loan on a stadium they knew would not be ready. Several thousand new St holders were created. Yes the money was returned piece by painful piece but retrospectively to start with. Only a non season ticket holder would defend it.

I am not defending it mate, merely pointing it out as it is. Like all big builds it was running behind schedule. So you must have known, like I did when you brought your season ticket that there was a good chance you would still be going to Wembley for a few months. OK probably did not expect an eight month delay, but can hardly blame the club, when it was really out of their hands.

You're right I didn't expect 8 months but what bugs me is that everyone working on the stadium appeared to know it wouldn't be finished. My son in law worked on the roof, he told me he would be amazed if it opened this season and that was in August. Perhaps with hindsight Spurs should have suspended st payments until they knew more but its water under the bridge now. Looking forward to the eagles game now. COYS
