Speaking of 8.

Been looking back again at Season ending 1988.

Celtic’s Centenary season and we had been shyyyte with a capital S.

Big hopes obvs but no working on the pitch.

Coach ( Hay ) had left suddenly & Billy McNeil came back for his

2nd tour of duty not to everyone's liking.

Much, much grumbling in the Jungle.

A howling bad start to the season.

Come the New Year we started grinding out results.

5 games out of 7 we scored late winners.

Lifted the Title.

That cup final was the first game of football I remember as a young lad just shy of his 7th birthday. It prepared me for a life of misery and disappointed.
