Yes he is a great joke but come on. Without money the bloke is not that great. He plays some fantastic football but has he built a proper side yet without spending the most money in world football. He literally has been gifted everything in management. That is not to say he is an excellent coach because he is but he shouldn’t be mentioned alongside never mind above them just yet

Moyes, Mark Hughes, LVG etc all were sacked despite woring for clubs with bucket loads of money.
If money is the only determinant for success, then United should be the top team today.

Pep spent 300m on his keepers and defence alone. No other manager has even got close to that. Moyes spent 60m in total. Hardly a fecking comparison is it

Jock Stein won the European Cup with eleven players born within 20 miles of Glasgow. That's mindblowing.

Baldy gets the pick of the world, money no object, do what you want the Abu Dhabi royal family will pay. You can't mention him in the same breath as Stein.

Liverpool has won 11 trophies in that time, City 9. City spent more than double. Interesting indeed.

Surely you should of at least challenged for the league more often, until Chelsea arrived on the scene, given what you were spending compared to the rest?

Agree with most, this is a really poor list, with some glaring oversights.
I mean where is Bill Nicholson on this list ??

Yes, we should have. We kept buying crap players however.

I weren’t knocking Liverpool btw. Was just surprised to see you so night up compared to others in Europe. Explains why some of your lot are so into the net spend trophy 😜

Yes but there's also this idea because we haven't won the league we've won nothing when that isn't actually true. We were still one of the most successful clubs in that period and even won a CL, got to two more finals and won the UEFA Cup and got to another final. So yeah, we've lost quick a few finals, even one against City recently. Was it on penalties? May have been extra time, I was drunk.
