OK, we have a break before the our next Prem game against Burnley, although we won our last game against them 1-0, we have struggled against the lower teams in this division.
Against Cardiff however it was a very different story, Nuno made 5 changes, but the most notable on the day were Vinagre and surprisingly Traore being played as wingbacks. Both had great games, and were eager to take the game to the opposition every chance they got with us ultimately running out convincing winners.
Should we be repeating this against the lower teams in the Prem?

"Not his fault his players couldn't get the vital extra goal in most of those matches"
Just out of interest wolfie, how do you determine whether managers or players are at fault for poor results? I am fascinated what criteria you use.
Or is it just your opinion that makes it so?

Put ourselves in a strong position to qualify now and with only a minus 1 goal difference after playing the two weakest sides in the group.

It was only a matter of time before Scotland clicked and got the all important win.
If they had lost today, the SFA had a friendly lined up against the Vatican!

McCarthy still keeping the forum alive thank heavens
At least we have wolfie’s comedy posts to lighten the mood. Sadly there’s no debate about Solbakken, Saunders and Hoddle being useless else they could be good topics too.
Long for the day when we are 7th in the top flight and in the FA Cup semi final then there might be some interest in the present day. But to be fair all cinci and wolfie comments are bute’s fault not their own so I let them off. And I’ll add a smiley just to add effect, as people do

Pleased to see a video of Conor Ronan still looking a good prospect at the weekend. Made his debut for the Republic of Ireland U21s and was voted motm and got two assists

That is good news as he has had a pretty forgettable 18 months or so
