Valencia will be going to Arsenal. He's been a great servant to United and I think he's a big upgrade over Liechsteiner. But signing him would just take the place of a more capable player. I think that move will happen and it will be for experience, as opposed to playing regularly. But Valencia, for all his attributes over the years, isn't a natural leader.

He would offer the team more than Silvestre did back in that day. And he'd do a decent job. But you could do better

I just have to laugh. The player announces he wants a new contract and is discussing his options with the club and we automatically assume that the club want to do the same. Have you considered why its player who is telling reporters this and not the club?

Yes it was the first thing i considered. However, the fact that our club chose to be cheapskates and sign him at his age in the first place is what gives me a slight concern that we may actually be thinking about renewing.

Yes it was the first thing i considered. However, the fact that our club chose to be cheapskates and sign him at his age in the first place is what gives me a slight concern that we may actually be thinking about renewing.

Well most of us were in favor of Lichy on a free so it’s easy in hindsight to say we should have known he would be awful.

I’d like to think that he is a good influence in the dressing room with all his shiny medals and stuff because he has no place on the pitch for a PL team anymore.

Would be useful if he could teach Bellerin how to cross the ball first time instead of nearly always stopping and passing backwards.
