Why when we get someone good...

some say oh we can do without them, they aren't that good, you know the players in the past that has been said of.
Well i see with amusement that two first choice England players are said by some not to be good enough and easily replaced cough!
It will be a test for the new manager to keep them next season if a top three or four club come in for them no one apart from Shearer turns down Man U.
But if we are moving forward and they are getting first team matches every week, then there is hope.
We have people who say Chillwell isn't a fullback yes he's got a mistake in him but like Harry most clubs in the prem would want them.

These players are family there is no loyality in football but they have been through a lot together with their young mates and might not want to break up the band just yet Insh Allah as we say in the sandpit.

Joby its just that people seem not that bothered to let them go? I don't get it we would be happy in the past to have one international now we have two England players and some as it is their right think don't worry we can still be a top six team without them?

Rather ironic really when some plonkers want to get rid of Vardy and Kasper.

Now Vardy is irreplaceable, relegation fodder without a 20 goals a season striker.

I was referencing Pereira with regards to a better player than Chilwell Nev.

What I will say about Chilwell is he does look better playing possession football and as part of a back 5. It covers his defensive issues and there’s no denying he’s calm and composed on the ball.

His performance for England was excellent in this regard. Do I think he’s irreplaceable? Like Joby, I beleive the answer to that is no.

No one irreplaceable and the money it would require to price him away will be high, but if have the ambition to be top six then we need them to stay

I'm quite happy with Harry and Chillers.

I've seen that we want £80M for Harry, so realistically if United come calling with that sort of cash what are you going to do? Keep him and risk having a disgruntled player on the books or let him go and invest the money?

Harry's great for us, but is he really good enough for United? If he isn't then £80M is an exceptionally good deal.

Apart from in Nev's World no one isn't happy with them and everything you say makes total sense.

I have been saying for months if any one bothers to read it that Harry would not turn down Man utd if they came knocking and we kept unhappy Marhez in the season where he had the most assists.
If we qualify for Europe which i don't want this season as we do not have the quality of squad required at the moment. Then there will be encouragement to stay.

He’s certainly better than Keane!!!! That back 4 were quite badly exposed at times last night. Could have been torn a new one against quality opposition. Back to 3 centrebacks please Gareth!!

Maguire's had two very good games for England over the last few days, which certainly won't hurt his price tag. That said, there's so much data around nowadays that scouts and chief execs are able to take games like that in isolation and see a bigger picture.

As for whether Maguire is England's best centre back, it's interesting to see that he's making a case for it. And it's hard to say that there's a Rio Ferdinand (in his prime) or anyone like that around to definitely be ahead of him in those stakes.
