That's all we want. Trophies can't be guaranteed by anyone. They are obviously the end goal for football teams but you can't win them all the time. Football as they say goes in cycles and other teams get better too.
We've been pretty awful for 6 seasons now and still won 3 trophies. That's 3 more than two clubs sitting above us currently. Just imagine how we could do with a better team and playing the football this club is supposed to play.
Ole needs to be backed and needs to build a young exciting team and let's see where it takes us. Definitely looking forward to next season a lot more now. We may not win the title again next season. Definitely won't be favourites that's for sure. However we can hopefully look forward to every game now and see a young hungry team going out to score goals.
Definitely shouldn't be obsessing about winning the title as soon as possible. Better buying the right players and build something that will last.
Sancho, Wan Bissaka, Declan Rice, De Ligt......these are some of the names we should now be looking at. Won't get them all obviously but that's the type of player we traditionally do well with.
These fancy Dan Galactico signings have largely been an utter disaster for us.
And please please please get rid of Sanchez, Ole. Tell him he's not wanted. That money is being wasted.

The OP is spot on.
As a supporter who watches United that is more important that playing a style of over cautious football as a means to an end of winning cups.
If I was a non attending fan I might think different as the only thing that would matter then would be results.
But at the moment for me anyway, football is an (expensive) spectator sport that I demand to be entertaining... and not just a classified result.
Ole will deliver on that. The trophies I believe will come with all that.

The window will give you a rough idea of where he is taking you.
From a Chelsea perspective i hope he does a Kenny ala spunks your budget on rubbish Championship players and sets you up in midtable for the forseeable future but unfortunately i can't imagine lightning striking twice.

VC might he an over gereralisation but I think there were many of the Jose fan club who quite obviously didnt pay to watch live football who were only interested in the results by hook or by crook. It wasnt until the penny dropped that we played 5hite football and still lost games that the game was up for Jose.
You know who the regular suspects were.

not wrong with going after big names in their mid 20's you just have to go for the right type of players, no point signing guys like depay,di maria even to extent scniederlin like lvg did and play that slow paced possession game, their all direct fast paced players that just looked lost in the wrong system
if ole is going to stick to his guns and play the "utd" way then the defence should be a priority as well, defo need a better cb option and a better holding player then work from there
