I'm looking forward to the UK becoming another US state. Would be great to have guns on the street like they do in Texas.

Imagine that 'Britain' and ireland had existed separately over the centuries until now and Britain had just decided to invade ireland last Tuesday at tea time. What would be the reaction?

I'm not a great fan of big countries invading smaller neighbours.
