So a rare post from me whilst under the influence.
I was watching the MLS yesterday whilst waiting for climate change to melt the Canadian Icecaps.
This fella sets up one goal and then scores these two beauts on his debut:

Pozuelo o clock was quite enjoyable against a Villa-less Man City/New York.
Made me think what were the best Derby Day Debut's you can remember?
Who was our Pozuelo????

Have to be Thorne for me. Was lucky enough to watch him vs Forest and boy was he quality above everyone else on the pitch.
I think we should look to sign this Pozuelo fella 😉

If Pozuelo could do that at Championship level deffo. His third goal was special. He came from Genk who are top in Belgium. Really hope if Mel sells we look a little less UKIP-ish in the transfer market.

Did Rasiak score on his debut?

No 2w. He played about 3 games before he scored

Didn't get to see them play but focusing on defence, weren't Paul McGrath and Taribo West immense from day 1?

Apparently, McGrath never trained as he's knees were shot to pieces. He did a great job at Derby, even though he only played in 24 games.

Was it Stimac's debut when we lost 5-1? Think he scored.
He made up for the hammering though later.

Yes it was. (I think) Possibly one of our bogey teams at the time Tranmere Rovers. Wouldn't be surprised if Aldridge was their goalscorer.
Aldridge and Steve Bull (Wolves). Players that always hurt us.

Last time I saw us play Tranmere was at the BBG just after Christmas (1994 maybe)? We won 4-0 with Gabbiadini getting a HT, (Eric Nixon was in goal for Tranmere)?
