a lot of our supporters would have bitten your hand of to be 3rd in the table, oh and in the CL QFinals in early April, and about to move into the new stadium. With five home games, and just two away to come, for a place in this seasons top four still all to play for. Yes I know the disappointment of being so many points in front, just a few games back, but it is done now, you cannot turn the clock back.
I am still ultra confident that Spurs will still finish Top Four, whether it is 3rd/4th matters not. The thing that Poch has do now though is to keep a settled side, injuries apart. Same starting XI as today for the Palace game, despite some individual errors no time for scapegoating players now, it doesn`t matter about this game, it is done and dusted, we move on. Now is not the time to be chopping and changing every game.
Get behind the team against Palace on Wednesday fellas, make one hell of a din, and whilst Palace are useful, I can see only a Spurs win. That will then be followed by another home game, Huddersfield, which should be a gimmee. Those two results should be enough to get the season kick started again, so all is not lost. Just need to have a bit of faith now. Not like the team played badly at both Southampton and Liverpool, they didn`t. Just need to cut out the simple errors, and the wins will return, that I have no doubt.
At the start of the season, I am sure

One thing's for sure .... Levy will want a win for the first first team match in his bright shiny new stadium.
I'm looking ahead to the ManCity matches ... al three of them.
Now then, how's today's team going to do in those matches?
Win any of them?
Draw at least one?
Lose all three?
What thinks you all?

your first sentence Ted sums up everything that's wrong at Spurs.... it's all smoke and mirrors.... Levy will want everything to go to plan on weds but won't add a couple of players to help us progress.... That stadium for as wonderful as it is it's Spurs in nutshell... Style over substance.... Doubt there's much stadium jealousy tonight from United, chelsea and Arsenal (when they win tomorrow)... Points and results matter more.

to answer your question i sadly think we'll lose all 3. Mentally we are soft, city have far better players, a huge squad and a world class manager... the gulf in quality of the sides is massive. City will have to play like total dogshlt for us to beat them in any one of those games. They won't be intimidated by the new stadium and they certainly won't be fearful of our side. We have so many glaring weaknesses... CM, RB & GK and city are the perfect side with the right manager to ruthlessly expose that.... Sterling/ Sane will have field day down our right had side.... Both Silva's and KDB will run rings round our MF and i don't think he are switched on / mobile enough at the back to keep out Ageuro... This is the time of year when the big players/teams show up.... Spurs are out of their depth at this level

I still have some hope in the CL. I even have some hope in the top 4 race, but I think we've lost our 3rd place now.

We will get beat by City in all 3 games and comfortably to mate. We have got no chance in the CL and got no Chance in the league against them either. Today proved it to me. We play well and still can’t get anything at Anfield. Our only hope of top 4 is winning the rest of our “winnable” fixtures. Win 6 out of our last 7 games and we will be fine.

Its unlikely we will beat City over two legs, we have a better chance of finishing in the top 4 than advancing in the CL imo, so the PL needs to be our priority. But still just take one game at a time and see how things pan out.

Both the CL and PL should take equal priority. We are definitely capable of beating City over 2 legs at our best, and I hope we give it everything.

Spurs will knock City out of the CL, but City will beat Spurs in the Prem. Cannot believe you have hoisted the white flag so early. City are decent, but they are not unbeatable, Spurs have played their best stuff in the CL, and over the two legs, they can certainly do the business. Any team that makes the QF of the CL are not out of their depth, they are there because they are a good to very good team.
