The contrast between Liverpool's first half of the season and the second half is very weird. They had a great Christmas period and teams that collect the points they did during the busy period almost certainly win the league. Its strange that the league is still a dog fight but I guess thats credit to what bringing in a top quality manager like Pep has done for the premier league.
The recent draws and the poor performances have meant that a few players who looked very good at the start of the season dont look so great now. Milner was one,Undroppable at first but now almost a liability. Gomez would have been a shoe in had he stayed fit.At some point Allisson was looking at a record number of clean sheets but he is only two clear of Ederson now.
If I had to choose a team of the season I would go with
Goal keeper - Ederson
Right Back - Trent
Center back - van Dijk
Center back - Laporte
Left back - Robertson
Defensive Midfielder - Fernandinho
Central Midfielder - Pogba
Attacker - Bernardo Silva
Attacker - Sterling
Attacker - Hazard
Striker - Aguero

Turned into a right old mess.
Best bit for me though was when TOOR was trying to mock me for caring about having the last word at the same time as he couldn't let an argument go on another thread, so much so that he ended up on here until midnight and was straight back at it at 8am.
He makes it too easy at times.
