Hugo Lloris. Shocking howler at the end. Did not have a chance for the first goal. Kicking not great again. 4
Toby Alderweireld. Thought he was our best defender, not his fault for the OG. 7
Davinson Sánchez. Is good in the air but always seems to lose his man on crosses like for the first goal. 6
Jan Vertonghen. Decent solid game as usual. 7
Kieran Trippier. Losing the battle early on against Robinson but better after the tactical change so not all his fault, helped set up our goal. 6
Christian Eriksen. Love this guy but has been poor recently, too many misplaced passes for a player of his quality, did get the assist but even that was scuffed. 5
Moussa Sissoko. I thought he was superb and bossed the midfield second half, would have given him a higher score if he hadn't messed up that chance so badly. 8
Dele Alli. Was unlucky with a curler in the second half and worked hard but was fairly quiet. 6
Danny Rose. Indifferent game, I thought he did some really good things but then some of his crosses was woeful and could be partly blamed for pool's winner. 6
Harry Kane. Even when he doesnt score he still contributes. Did not have the ball all that much but won us freekicks and played a part in the goal and Sissoko's chance. 7
Lucas Moura. I thought he was our best player. Ran well with the ball and won a few headers for a small guy. Scored the goal and worried pools defense with his pace. 9

Big chances missed against top 6 sides have killed us this season, Lamelas against City, Sissoko yesterday and a hatful at home to Utd. We lost all 3 games and its that ability to convert chances when it really matters that sorts the men out from the boys.
I'm afraid its a mentality thing and you can do as much work on the training ground as you like but you can't legislate for the inability of a player to keep a cool head in a big situation.

Chronic on a mad one with Lloris at the minute

Spurs conversion of shots to goals has to be about the worse in the league. Spurs need like 20 efforts to score, most other teams only need one or two chances to convert. The decision making when they get anywhere near the penalty area is poor. United games they should have had half a dozen, despite the good goalie performance. Southampton the same, and there are plenty of other games where the games should have been over by half time.

Chelsea home and Everton away are the only two I can think of

bounemouth at home i guess, even though was over by half time. Cardiff away as well the same. Other than that its literally been painful viewing at some stage.

get rid of Aurier, Wanyama, Lamela and Eriksen(4 non home grown players as well) and bring in a RB LB CM CAM (2 home grown players). others will go too. if we fack up the summer we could be in trouble
