I don't think he's been as bad as people are making out. It's disappointing that he's not been a threat on freekicks for us and has made a couple of poor errors for goals. But he was part of a very good defence for much of the season and his link up play has been great.

Absolutely Best. I think he's looked poor defensively, not much better than De Bock tbh. Hopefully he gets back to his best.

He can't have been that bad because we were top of the league for a while with him starting whenever fit.

He’s not performed nearly as well as we hoped or expected. Don’t try and give it some gloss because he’s injured.

Don’t think he’s a bad player all of a sudden though. Just think he hasn’t suited our style. Looks like he would better suit a wing back role with 3 CB’s.

Whenever he has to defend 1 on 1 he gets beat too easily. We also have not had the style of player that’s given him targets to aim for in the box going forward.

Think he has looked like a player capable of playing. Has a decent touch, looks for a pass, gives and goes, wants to over lap and can produce a very good cross. Just thin because the system hasn’t suited him he has lacked confidence to produce on the odd occasion available to his to strengths.

Can see why Wolves let him go as he has a big weakness defensively and the step up would expose that further.

I wonder if he was signed with a slightly different style of play in mind. I don’t think the plan was to have Roofe as the main man up top in the summer.

I do think he will he of interest to Championship sides in the summer if we go up. And would value him at a couple of million.

While the signing of Douglas has not being a success I like the type of signing and pleased we went down the route of signing successful players in promotion teams.

And credit has to go to him for his effort throughout the season and of course seeing this game out while injured

As regularly as he did? Yes.

Agree with Faith. Not a bad player but in the wrong system. At least he got an assist on Saturday.
