Ryan Kent

Not unexpected but offered a 2 game ban.

I doubt it will be appealed for obvious reasons.

Hearing on Thursday to confirm the ban which means should it go through he would miss the Motherwell game and the first game of the split.

Clearly Rangers will be hoping the OF game isn't the first game with him and Morelos out of that one then.

rangers players acted like wee dhicks on the 29th when they won, and the acted like wee dhicks when the lost as well.

in short, rangers players are petulant wee dhicks, as are the fans who think its "pure amazing and aww rat" when their players do it but that brown was "pure ooty order" when he done it.

fvckwits quite frankly.

You can ask for balance when you show you can also do it as in when Rangers fans lapped up the celebrations on the 29th, Morelos's antics and Halliday standing over Lustig on the ground when injured shouting at him.

Personally i think Rangers fans and players only have themselves to blame after the treatment Brown's received in previous OF games. Lets not forget he was also attacked by a fan at Ibrox.

If standing 30 yards away and doing the Broony, something they absolutely loved on the 29th, even their official twitter account lapping it up, gets you all hot and bothered to demand action then a quick look in the mirror may help going forward.

Brown is what he is, he's a WUM but he can take stick when it's due and also a wind up from other players without reacting with violence. Off the top of my head, Bartley's tackle on him, Jordan Jones this season and Scott Arfield recently too.

He gets on with it.

I agree with this. ‘Balance’ wasn’t applied for Morelos’ behaviour in the previous OF game. In fact, much laughter was applied at the discussion about it afterwards-all the talk of meltdoons.

Similarly, no condemnation of his behaviour at the SC replay against Aberdeen when he dived about the place trying to get others sent off. Or even Halliday screaming in our players’ faces when he wins a tackle or blocked a cross.

Brown gets singled out for debate, and the excuse is he’s our captain, or other players are just journeymen.

He gets more abuse on the park than others and seldom does he react. What he did on Sunday is what players all around the world do. The issue is solely with the reaction. Nothing else. I doubt he wants any sympathy, but that shouldn’t stop us trying to diminish what the Rangers players did to him. Morelos started the incident on Sunday by running into the back of Brown. After Brown clipped him, Morelos actually looks to see if Madden is watching and then swings his arm at him.

Morelos kicked it off on Sunday, not Brown.

Did Scott Brown elbow Morelos after he booted him in the baws on December 29th?

Did Ryan Christie shove/punch Morelos in the fact after Morelos grabbed his baws?

Did Scott Brown run back to Scott Arfield after he deliberately goaded him on December 29th?

There's a pattern here, it's called gamesmanship and our players don't need to resort to violent conduct when subjected to it.

There's a serious indiscipline problem at Ibrox and to suggest otherwise is head in the sand stuff.

Celtic could’ve had three or four red cards in the December old firm game for bad challenges

Fekin Morelos could have had 3 reds himself in the December game..

Although this is Morelos we are talking about.

I am sure if anyone could have found a way it would be him.

Bet if you just show him a photo of Scott McKenna he goes all Tasmanian Devil.

I'm pretty much in agreement with Hamish, Morelos & Kent did what they did, both bannable offences (I didn't see the Halliday one). It was entirely within their control not to lash out, but they did.

However, Brown deliberately set out to provoke a reaction. It's pretty much his game in a nutshell, and Celtic players / staff saying he did nothing wrong are only fooling the most blinkered of Celtic fans. It's smart from Brown, he's been around the block enough and knows what he's doing, knows what he can get away with unpunished. What I would say though is it's incredibly unsporting behaviour and, like diving, should be cracked down on. I honestly don't know why that sort of behaviour is celebrated in Scottish football because it devalues an already pretty worthless product. Just because the reaction was worse than the provocation, doesn't mean the provocation should go unpunished.

So by that logic Browns odd the ball kick at Morelos should’ve been a red card
