Now got to win 5 from 6 - Not likely

Assuming we lose to City which I suppose is a fair shout as they are so.muxh better than us.....we need to win all our other remaining games to have a chance. My thoughts and Ole agrees too.

Westham H, Huddersfield A, Cardiff H - you'd hope we'd win. If we don't then we don't deserve top 4 anyway.

Everton A and Chelsea H are the other two games which look much tougher obviously. But we have to win both now. Draws won't be enough.

If we somehow win all 5 and lose to City I think it might be enough. However no margin for error makes me think we are going to just miss out now.

We've made a good fist of even being in the race from where we started to be fair. Jose's meltdown will ultimately cost us I think.

Hafi seems to reel them in like no other. He's literally calling OGS better than Fergie and people still rise to it.

OGS is statistically better. OGS uses SAF methods but he is someone who likes his team to shoot. Remember OGS talking about 99 CL final and he was unhappy not starting and he said I will show SAF and he comes on and we start shooting for fun and creating cghanxes mainly because of OGS.

Also I did a Palmersport day. Anyway sorry if I caused any offence but I stand by my main points. I am glad Moyes made me feel less annoyed by results than in SAF era as you get used to losing badly. It hurts more when you know the team outplayed the opposition and we gifted the points to the opposition. Wolves Arsenal and Burnley 8 points dropped and we gifted them all away. Those 8 points would have us way clear in 3rd. Can't blame the manager for that. As SAF would say Football! Bloody Hell!

Hafi looks at football too binary, but he does make fair points about the chances we miss and the players not being that clinical.

We’ve not had a player since RVP score more than 17 league goals in a season. We do actually have goals all around the team - I think we are the only club in the prem that has four players with 10 plus league goals, and we’ve had more goal different goal scorers than any other team. But you need to have at least one player that regularly put away chances as we have lacked that for years.

I think we have bigger issues than Rashford and Lukaku to address this summer. But I wonder how big a difference a top class striker would make.

This is biting I guess but anyway... when a team is chasing a game they'll usually have more shots and will often still lose.

We've been playing poorly for months now, so the downturn in results wasn't unexpected. I think people are so blinded by their delight that Jose is gone (with some justification) that they have failed to notice just how bad we've been recently

My prediction is that if you don't get anything against City then it will mean Ropey League next season and Thursday nights.

Worst case scenario for you guys is you beat City like last season only to still end up in the Ropey league after losing to the 'minnows'.
