Then this league would be just like Ligue 1 in France with a team backed by oil money running away with it. The closest team to us bar City are Arsenal who are mahoosive 16 points behind us.
This is one reason I am so surprised most fans want City to win it by a country mile each season. If they keep this up then all the best players would be wanting to play there.
If we beat them to the title which is a long shot then the rest of the teams should be thanking us.
Pep has acknowledged us : “Liverpool are one of the strongest teams I have faced. They have everything. They have good tactics, great defensive strength, they have very good high pressing and they have a very good counter-attack. Liverpool have everything. That’s why it’s so close."
My mates who are City fans are loving this season more than last. They tell me it was boring watching some games last season as there was nothing to play for and a defeat meant they still miles ahead of the rest. This season every game is a cup final feel about it.
We have made the league a lot more interesting to watch
From now till the end of the season all fans should be backing us or the league could end up being just as boring as the French league

First, if you hadn't stuffed Arsenal they would be nearer City and you further away.
Second, didn't you just make record profits, you are hardly paupers.
Beating them to the title isn't a long shot, it's about 50 50, you are not plucky underdogs.
Liverpool being any United fans second team can only happen in some kind of dystopian nightmare, whatever one of those is.

I dont blame United or Everton fans not wanting us to win it. But it is the other team fans like arsenal which is weird. Ir is almost like if we win it outs them in a bad light because only few years ago we were in same position as they are now.
But I feel if city win it again this year, as long as pep is there they will win again next season. I think the blow we would face after what is looking to be record points tally will take its toll. I also cant see any of the other closing the gap.

First, if your me had ballacks she’d be your Dad. We did leather them so the point is moot.
Second, no we’re not paupers. But we’re no where near City in terms of spending power.
Third, I’d say going from finishing how many points behind them last season to beating them to the league this season would be seen as a long shot.
