If De gea doesn't want to sign a new deal, we need a fee for him.. if Pogba pushes for a move to Madrid, we need to try get a big fee or money + varane for him.
Herrera looks to be going and we already needed to upgrade on matic, we could need a new GK, 2 CM's, RW,RB, CB.
6 signings.. that's surely impossible in one window? We've been linked with Partey from A.Madrid, who has a 43million release clause.. would anybody be against going for Oblak(who has a release clause of 80million) & Partey.. also what about AWB & Zaha for the right side? Getting 2 players from the same team twice would surely help with negotiations? Speed things up?
I know people say I'm playing football manager but we seem f*cked before transfer windows even opened..
ALOT of signings needed..

de gea will stay i reckon, so will pogba. Matic, herrera, young with be shifted. maybe you do need 2 CMs thinking about it.

As much as I would like new signings in key positions. I want the club to start being more ruthless in getting rid of players who aren't good enough or aren't playing.
I wonder how much we have wasted on wages for the likes of Rojo and Darmian for example.

really dont want it to happen obviously, but alderweireld would be a great purchase. Then a RB, CM and AM/forward. 4 big signings is realistic for a club like united

Agree with this but I think CM is only a priority if we have players leave in that position. At this point I think we could afford to let a CB go - probably Rojo or Jones, Valencia at RB is already leaving and we are possibly losing Mata - who we may not need to replace.
This means we need a RB and a RW as thats still a problem position for sure - Lingard gets the nod in the Mata type role at the tip of the diamond or no.10 role and we get the right CB we can push for a title but certainly Top 4 would be a little less uncertain.

I dont think you NEED a rb.
You do need a CM or two but there are loads of options there both in and outside of England.
I dont think you NEED a cb (nor do I think you'll try and sign one).
Could do with a RWF tbf.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Valancia is leaving and Young is first choice with Dalot - who Ole has played mainly at RW as back up. I'd say a top RB is definitely required.
At CM if we go with what we have at the moment I'm kind of happy with the options - maybe at a push we need to replace Matic long term but again I don't think thats the top priority - I know plenty of fans that would disagree with me but that would be based on also keeping Pogba and Herrera. If one or both do leave then yes we would need recruitment as priority in this area.
CB is an odd one - we seem to do ok for some games and then have an absolute mare in others. As I said in my post if the right one is available - someone of VVD quality, then yes we should go for it. We shouldn't buy Maguire I don't think, we really need someone world class here. Also wouldn't mind going for an older option like Alderweild (sp?) as we need someone to marshall the defence as that doesn't come from the keeper.
RW is a priority
TL;DR you're wrong and I'm right
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Dalot and TFM can do it.
I also think Utds midfield is poverty.

This ain't career mode on FIFA 19, Where you sign your favourite players, It doesn't work like that.

TFM is an odd one in that he seems to have gone backwards on his loan after a promising start. I'm not sure with Young leaving in a year or 2 at most that they are cover enough. I have a feeling that we will see TFM leave the club this summer.
Not sure that the CM positions are "poverty" We have a settled best 3 of Pogba, Herrera and Matic - yes we need to replace Matic longer term but not right now, next season we could go with that as the first team. We have Fred and McTominay and Pereira as cover with others from the youth team behind them. Not a priority for me. based on them all staying obviously.
