Who's feeling confident? Anyone?
I think we all know what might be coming. We're going to get a bit of a footballing lesson I fear. I know people will point to the PSG game but a lot of things went for us in that tie. Injuries to Neymar n Cavani and lucky breaks in the second leg. First leg we got played off the park too.
Our only saving grace is that we have a weekend off to prepare and Barca have to play Atletico Madrid. Hopefully Simeone gets his players fired up for that one as they will want to finish above their City rivals Real Madrid for sure. Still don't think it will make too much difference for us though.
The thing that worries me the most is that over recent games and all season really we've got players that play mostly every game and they give the ball away more times in 1 match than they should in 3 games combined. Barca will absolutely murder us if we surrender the ball cheaply to them and that's exactly what I will fear will happen.
They are vulnerable at the back still. Conceded 4 the other night for example. However it's whether we can get the ball for long enough to hurt them and take the chances if they come about. We didn't exactly excel in front of goal at Wolves did we? Missed so many great chances.
No game this weekend. Barca up next

It’s a shame we didn’t sign Lacazette instead of Lukaku. Would make such a big difference to our team.

Pogba’s arguably the most criticised player we have.
The only player in the squad that tends to get “left alone” is Anthony Martial.
Whisper it quietly, but he was actually better under Mourinho than he has been under Ole.

Haha, I’m hardly some super critical guy like the match thread people. But I feel Pogba does get away with a lot more than other players. How many articles dedicated to his poor last few weeks has he had?

Lukaku is a great striker given the service and if Utd play a certain way👍
He isn't however "world class" few are to be fair but if Utd want to rediscover winning ways, and I mean THE EPL or Champs league they need better, only imo however, each to their own, that we need perhaps another 3-5 top players is also an issue but Rom won't take us back to where we want to be, LOVE to be proven wrong there as I quite like him as a bloke but we'll see👍

Injuries haven’t helped but he still needs to step up his performances. He hasn’t got Mourinho to hide behind anymore. This is true of a lot of our players.
