Well that is one home game down

and as expected it gave Spurs a win. Four home games to play, and hardly the hardest set of games, so should be maximum points, although nothing is ever a given. I had always suspected the new ground would be the difference in the end, not only giving the players a massive boost, but also the supporters.

Arsenal`s odds I think are not that reflective, especially as they still have to play Everton, Watford, Leicester and Wolves all away, and all probably still chasing a place in the Europa League. Man United and Chelsea still have to play each other, which means they cannot both win, also United have to play City and Chelsea still have to play Liverpool. I think another dozen points, or maybe just a few more, should be good enough for Spurs, so can afford to lose at City with no damage being done. Not too worried whether they finish 3rd or 4th, although obviously finishing above Arsenal again, would be good for bragging rights, but means nothing really. Amazing what one good result can do.

Obviously Top Four should have been done and dusted by now, but it is what it is, and at least keeps the season interesting. Oh and there is the small matter of a CL quarter final game with Man City to look forward to next week. What a game and atmosphere that will be. I fancy Spurs in front of a very loud crowd next week.
