Right Back

Trippier. Aurier. KWP.

I dont really rate any as being top quality.

Trippier's quality this season has been poor. An OK defender his attacking and in particular crossing ability is why he starts, but he has seriously underwhelmed in this area this season. Where i think he has been better is getting the ball forward from deeper up to someone making a run from centre to right channel. He's started quite a few attacks like this but rarely contributes with quality higher up the pitch.

Aurier - hasnt had a proper run of games but when the opportunity has arisen often he's got injured, like now! As a result he's never really settled in. He's improved a bit, he's less rash. He's faster and more agile than Tripper and he's a better one on one defender. But still not seen enough of him consistently to feel like he's the long term option.

I'd keep either of these as back up to a new RB

KWP - I simply do not rate him. He's an ok defender but is quite physically weak. He's 22 so not exactly new on the scene, 1 year younger than Dele. I have seen him bullied by bigger players and tied in knots by skillful players. Sure he may be 'one of our own' but IMO he simply is not good enough and isnt the future - He'll be a Kyle Naughton type and his level is probably lower EPL/Championship.

Personally I'd sell the lot and start over but this might be difficult. Trippier probably has the best market and as a £3.5m purchase we'd make a hefty profit on him. Aurier cost £23m, has not done a great deal to further his reputation so we may struggle to find a buyer without taking a hit. KWP could be sold to a Championship side but probably needs to go on loan to prove himself first.

AWB is going to be massively in demand and i can see United and Arsenal going for him - He may be out of reach. I liked that Ismaila Sarr who played for Nantes vs Arsenal (21). A risk but an exciting looking player.

With Rose and Davies i think we have pretty good options on the left. This needs balancing with better quality on the right A key area for me this summer along with CM.

Yeah our scouts need to look further afield than the French league and Ajax. Must be plenty of bargains out there in Spain and Germany.

Agree with all that but I would keep Trips as back up. Trippier is more than good enough as a back up right back. Sell Aurier - not good enough and far to erratic. KWP we will see how he develops, but a very lightweight. Have to admit wasn’t sure of the hype surrounding the palace right back, but he wa outstanding against Spurs. Bring him in Baldy!!!

I can see you guys going for Max Aarons

If anyone's getting sold it's Aurier because having non-homegrown backups isn't a great plan. Which is why Wan-Bissaka and Tierney are absolute no-brainers as potential signings - frees up space to sign non-homegrown players elsewhere.

Can we just have a word with whoever is doing the scouting/ recruitment @ Wolves ? There's a club that has their shlt together.... Expected them to do well this year but they have exceeded my expectations

The fosun group who own Wolves have a stake in Jorge Mendes’ company, Mendes is a top football agent and so most of the players they have signed both on loan and permanently have been on his books.

We don’t have such a connection but you’d think we’d have a better scouting system then the one we have.

Here's a poster who speaking a little sense!
Toby is leaving ..... who replaces him?
And don't tell me SAnchez - a Levy mistake second only to Aurier.

Don't see it. If he is, far better-paying teams will be in for him.
