With the opening of the Spurs

new Stadium on Wednesday, there seems to be a certain amount of envy from some supporters of others clubs. Never quite get why another clubs supporters should be envious of another clubs Stadium, when they are only visiting it once a year in all probability.

From my own personal point of view, having visited the Stadium twice, it is without doubt the best club Stadium I have been to, in my 60 years of watching football around the country. It will no doubt be superceeded in time by something even better, but for now, absolutely nothing in this country is even close to it.

Sure there are still one or two teething problems, but in the main I think the opening was an absolute 100 per cent success. Oh and despite what a certain Chelsea supporter is trying to say, all available tickets were sold, as they have been for the Man City game and the Huddersfield games. And if he can actually go on the Spurs ticket website and access me a ticket, I would be much appreciated, because I haven`t got a ticket for the Man City game. I think he also needs to ask how his own club cannot fill a 41,000 Stadium, when only a little over 38,000 were in attendance at their last home game.

Anyway moving on tickets are going to be extremely difficult to come by now, despite the increased capacity. Hopefully as the novelty of the new stadium goes away, next season may be a bit easier. Although I feel if Spurs do start to win trophies, it may become harder. You can never have a big enough stadium in truth. I think the 60,000 stadium is about right, but obviously for the really big games, you could easily sell double that. But it is what it is. So let`s just enjoy our fantastic new home, and if anybody can get to the front of the queue at the bars, get us a pint. I have not managed one at the new ground yet.

i don't think he's biting at all

we've had cfc fair play champions having a pop for the last 2 years about our attendances

fact is on tuesday night they had their lowest attendance since rafa was their manager

we had 20,000 more than them

hope you're feeling better sandy

Thanks Hounslows, I am feeling 100 per cent or as near as damn it. Although no alcohol for a bit.

To be fair mate, I would be jealous if we were still at the old lane and someone like Chelsea built a stadium like ours.

It's truly magnificent and will help us grow the club. Really should help us kick in on.

Agree with this. Your new stadium looks the nuts and as a local rival it is only natural to feel a bit envious but hopefully it will encourage our Club (whether it is RA or in the future Sir Jim) to crack.on and get ours done.

Summer, they don`t come cheap, new stadiums, you don`t get much change out of a billion, but you can put 50p on the burgers to get some of the money back.

Sandy where's your seat in the new ground, are you in the big stand behind the goal?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I am not a season ticket holder now mate, but I have a ticket for the Huddersfield game in the South Stand (big stand) so looks like I will be standing all game. Sadly I could not get a ticket for the CL game with Man City this coming week in the CL.

That sounds promising, I can't say I hope it goes wellas we need you guys to slip up but I genuinely hope the stadium lives up to its billing. It's nice to see a great new stadium that's isnt a soulless corporate bowl.

I also can't wait for the PL to greenlight "safe standing", imagine it will really improve the atmosphere of most grounds.

To be honest mate, most Spurs supporters in the big stand behind the goal will stand, as they did at Wembley, not a lot the stewards can do about it. And although I am now 70, I spent most of my footie life standing on the terraces, and prefer it really. Although the seat does come in handy at my age.

An image of it being the google stadium is going around, apparently a model of it was pictured in Google’s head office

Sorry guys but I'm far more interested in the personnel on the pitch than the building.
We have 3 matches with ManCity coming up.
Are we going to win any of them?
Maybe the one in the shiny new stadium?

Whats Levy going to do for Pochettino and his threadbare squad?
We need ....
a new RB - Aurier & Trippier not good enough.
a replacement for Toby - Sanchez not good enough.
A new LB - Rose is finished and Davies is not good enough.
A new CM - Dembele left without being replaced.
A new backup for Kane - Llorente not good enough.
And what about GK? - Are we happy there?
If I count on the fingers of one hand .... that's 5 top players Levy has to find, and they will cost a lot more than what he has to sell.
So.... until Levy starts dealing I'm not interested in new buildings.
I interested in a new squad!
