25-years old, still with over 2 years left on his contract and yet to even sniff a Leeds united shirt.
Well the good news is hes actually getting "some" game time at PEC Zwolle
17th March he managed 7 minutes away at Excelsior
23rd February started in central midfield at home to Graafschap but taken off.
15th February started in midfield v Den Haag but taken off.
09th February started in midfield v Heerenveen. but taken off.
03rd Feburary started in midfield v Utrecht but taken off.
26th January stated in midfield v Heracles but was booked and taken off.
Seems he was a fixture in the side for a couple of months but has since dropped back onto the bench.
Is his career back on the up?

The only thing that'll take the pressure off AR and Orta is promotion, mind, if Cellino had done it he wouldn't have got as much crap as he did!..
The club is now working as a well run football club and things have changed for the better, it doesn't matter what people think because it'll all come in place if we win promotion!..
Orta players or not, they are in it together and its up to them to show they're good enough to do it, the ones outside the club might not be the world beaters we want, but, they are ours!..

Gotta say that if any of us on here had performed our jobs in the way Orta has we would have received our p45s a long time ago. No one is perfect but i would say that at least 80% of Ortas signings have been abysmal failures and that is a very poor success rate. Yes brought in MB and a few signings have been half decent and we have been unlucky with injuries but at the end of the day the failures have cost the club millions and as much as i have had many disagreemants with Jonty i have to say his assessment of some of Ortas better signings is spot on. Was Orta given a brief for type of players to sign or was he working of his own bat i dont know but his history of signings for us and boro makes pretty depressing reading and i for one cant see how he deserves credit for success with so much failure behind him. January transfer window was a shambles as all us top managers on here seen what we needed and what we failed to get. If that costs us promotion will people still think he was successful and more to the point will MB stay for another shot or walk away. all ifs and buts at the moment but bottom line is Orta has been a failure.

Don’t forgot the wage bill went up 50% after orta first season.

No it doesn’t, we’ve lost 12 or so matches this season, 2 of them heavily v stoke and West Brom, this is the first match where people are really questioning whether we can make it and potentially why not.

i think you will find most on here were unhappy with majority of Ortas signings and because we have totally exceded our expectations from start of the season doesnt make his transfer dealings stats any better to read. win lose or draw i fail to see how anyone could be happy with his overall contribution

Clearly Orta knew about MB - but I do wonder whether it was a 'last throw of the dice' move rather than a 'I can see everything over the hill' moment.
The 4 year contracts issues still rancours a bit.
Weighing up on balance I'm still well short of convinced.
