Could it be that whether Ole is at the wheel or not, key players like Pogba, DDG, Herrera etc want out simply because perhaps they realise that they’re at a club which probably needs a root and branch clearout and reset to challenge again at the very top (and it may be that Ole is the man to do that even if it won’t necessarily payout for him - perhaps the guy after)
Put yourself in the shoes of those three players - they’re at that key stage of their career when they should be winning trophies and probably want some of what PSG or Real etc are offering. Perhaps they see what needs happening at United and with all the good intentions in the world realise they don’t want to be part of the challenge that is coming. I don’t actually blame them. Let’s be honest, the mess we’re in at the moment is a mix of SAF not exactly leaving us in the best shape squad-wise, three failed managers and a chairman who fell in love with the galactico model.
Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t some negative article where I think we’re finished and will wait 30 years for a title but maybe the very best players we have see what needs doing and just don’t wanna dedicate the key part of their trophy winning years to a side who are probably gonna have to rip it up and start again.
Anyone feel the same?
Players leaving us

Given how much football he'd played, year after year, and the obvious decline in his performances at Arsenal in the year prior to his arrival, it was a very risky signing. But the outlay in wages and the ripple effect is still the biggest disaster

Lol everyone knew Sanchez was a poor player whose key attribute was pace and he was losing his pace when we got him. Sanchez game is easy. Flick about 40 aimless balls upfield and hope for 1 of them to lead to a goal.

Funnily enough, Hafi's last sentence does tie in with my zonal passing theory 😂

I was hoping we kept HM but unfortunately he left. HM actually had a lot of pace and was a decent player for us especially in Europe.

Very flaky though. Has more off days than on days. Tbh we'd be better off without either player

I can see roles for Tuanzebe, Timbo, Greenwood, Chong etc next season too. They can do as well as or even better than some of the existing deadwood anyway. Save us a lot of cash too. Tuanzebe n Greenwood I have high hopes for too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You might see one. I doubt you’ll see more than one.
In Klopps time here the only young players to have consistently broken through are TAA amd Gomez, and i think Harry Wilson may join that next season.
You’ll not see 4 or 5 academy players playing much of a role next season, it just doesn’t happen anymore
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Some of the players I was referring to as deadwood don't play much anyway such as Darmian n Rojo.
Also Greenwood is the gem. He's got the lot that kid. Going to be a superstar

Calm down ffs
Plenty of people were saying that about Gomes twelve months ago.
Greenwood has played fantastic football against other children this season. Let's see how he plays against adults before recognising him as the second coming.

Don't worry about Sanchez. He was in my neck of the woods yesterday finalising a move to Llandudno FC who have just been relegated from the Welsh Premier League.

I think he's laughing at the undervaluation. Chelsea want 100m for Hazard. Based on that, we should be looking for more than 60m for DDG. As for Pogba, he's a far better player than the Brazilian pot shot merchant Liverpool sold for ridiculous money, not to mention significantly more marketable. If we're operating on the "Coutinho scale" I'd say at least 180 million for Pogba 👍
