Premier League footballer accused

Crazy.

Let's hope its not a Liverpool player.

I doubt this was an England player, otherwise they would have described him as such.

They obviously know who it is. It is illegal to name them though.

Some obvious questions arise from the article- she was invited to the VIP section by the footballer. Why didn't she leave as soon as the footballers behaviour started to upset her?
It says he kept pouring her drinks - was she drinking them?
She claims it was to make her boyfriend jealous - seems a weird conclusion.

I am not saying these things make it okay to sexually assault someone, but these things make me question her side of the story. Have the photos reached her boyfriend and she is trying to shift blame?

We will let the law decide.

You sort if are though, aren't you. You are highlighting her decisions in a manner to suggest that she must bear some level of blame for being sexually assaulted. This is the textbook definition of victim blaming.

Her reason for sitting in a VIP area, or not leaving, or drinking a drink bought for her are irrelevant. They do not give someone the right to sexually assault her.

What I am saying is she is probably not a victim. I am saying, based on the article, she was a willing participant who has changed the narrative after the fact.

yeah but when a woman claims sexual assault they must be believed no matte what. It doesnt even need to have the police involved imo. Just take her word for it and go one step further and name and shame.

A claim you are making with no evidence. The article says she accepted his invitation to sit in the VIP area and accepted his drink.

She then accuses him of sexually harassing her after she says she was telling him to stop.

You have then decided, with no evidence, that she probably agreed to this and has changed her story afterwards.

You are using unrelated behaviour to suggest that she is lying and implying that she shouldn't claim she was harassed. It's no wonder people have difficulty coming forward about these things.

The evidence is the article. That is all we have to go on here.

Where is the evidence of this in the article?
