With the first game of the triple

header with Man City coming up tomorrow evening, who thinks Spurs will win? I have taken the 7/2 on offer of a Spurs win, excellent value. The team should be fresh, only played two matches, Liverpool and Palace in nearly a month. City on the other hand have been getting bogged down with domestic cup ties, and although I did not watch the whole of the semi-final with Brighton, I watched enough to see that they are looking a very tired team now. OK they have a big squad, but even so, a team/squad will only have so much in the tank, and fighting on all four fronts, is bound to take its toil eventually.

In front of a very passionate crowd at WHL tomorrow night, I think Spurs will do the business, and hopefully build up a big enough lead to see them through the tie. All of the players need to be on their A game, and I mean all, no time to be carrying passengers, they need to give everything, no mistakes, no sloppy passes, better decision making in the final third, and be more clinical with their finishing. No silly rotation from the manager, strongest available team needs to be on the pitch tomorrow night.

I am pretty confident that Spurs can provide a huge shock and knock City out of the CL, just like Liverpool did last season, but whatever happens, should be an absolute brilliant night tomorrow night, shame I cannot be there, but for all those that are, enjoy it and give it your best shot from the terraces, it could make all the difference.

What a week we have in store. COYS.

I think whoever is playing DM for you has the biggest task.

If they're doing their jobs properly then Trippier will have cover.

I just hope if we we are on top of them, we take full advantage and make the most of our chances. Against Juve we didn't do this and got punished, against Liverpool we didn't do this and got punished. I don't want for us to win 2-1 when we should have won it by more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Against Real, Dortmund and Inter we did though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We could have beat Real away if we'd been more clinical.

Dortmund was a very good win but it's even more important to take our chances against City.

Yes I agree, the chances need to be taken, criminal the amount of chances wasted, even in the last three games, against Southampton, Palace and Liverpool. The Man United game was another game, the goalie aside, that Spurs should have won by a landslide. 20 chances to score one goal needs to be seriously improved on. Decision making in the final third is the main problem.

You just cant let City score in first 10 mins. They have done that so much of late and then they dictate the game. They will have a chance in first 10 mins for sure. If they take it then it's better luck next year.

I would rather you knocked them out of the premier league

Not sure Spurs will just pack it in if they concede with still 80 minutes to play. They are a bit better a side than say Brighton or some of the other cannon fodder City have played in the cups this season.

Exciting times ahead of Spurs. I think our recent rest and their busy schedule could be a bit of a leveler. I could see Spurs winning tomorrow night but in the end their quality and overall strength of squad win out over 2 games. They have too many match winners and a very solid defense regardless of who plays. I could see spurs scoring in both games but I don't think we are good enough to defend a lead going into the second leg. Unfortunately our major weakness are their major strengths... Our FBs Vs their wingers & in central midfield the likes of Winks & Sissoko & Dele are not good enough vs the likes of Fernandinho, KDB, Both Silva's & Gundogan

Can see us winning tomorrow 2-1 but fear we'll lose the second leg 3-1

As for the league game, cant see us winning. After the 2 CL games, they will be pretty familiar with us but unlike us, will still have the ability to mix things up with new/ top quality players coming in. We will look very much the same.

Either way... should be fun, great atmosphere at the new Lane..... All the pressure will be on them and with a few tired legs on their side, it might be closer than some are predicting

Taking my son to his first ever Spurs game

He tends to cry uncontrollably and get angry when we let in a goal / lose. Could be embarrassing but I'm sure he'll keep it together. Might have to spend up in the Spurs shop to keep him happy!

As for the game, incredibly tough. I just want us to give a good account of ourselves. Good tactics, well executed, no sloppy mistakes, clinical defensively and offensively. What will be will be. They're one of the strongest EPL teams ever and probably top 2 in Europe. I am hopeful, positive but also realistic. We're going to have to play out of our skins to take a lead to the Etihad.

My mate (West Ham) took his Son to his first ever game a couple of years ago v City. They lost 5-0 and I think it put him off West Ham for life

Let's hope Spurs do a bit better than that!
