Yea but if we lose to WHU after already having a defeat it doesn’t matter.

If they beat us first then we’ll be hearing about it for the rest of our lives.

Obviously winning every game is better

every defeat matters but yes i see where you are coming from. would be good to have the first defeat against a side who are superior to us.

Dier and Dembele were always our best partnership in midfield. No surprise that since they have been out of the equation for most of this season (with Dembele gone) that we do not look so solid defensively.

Just think about it for a moment. Dier/Dembele vs City or Winks/Sissoko vs City?

Dier playing helps us use a back four better because he is good at dropping deep to make a three and lets us have an etra attacking player. You do not get that with Winks/Sissoko.

A consistent performing Dier has been a big miss for us this season.

Can we please stop talking about home defeats.

I`d take any sort of clean sheet in this game, even a 0-0 means we only need a score draw at The Emptihad

Tottenham to give all supporters in single-tier South Stand a card tomorrow night, displaying 'To Dare Is To Do'. Club says it will provide "an unforgettable visual impact" & "create an iconic image that will be seen around the world"

Dier has been very hit & miss this year... Probably the biggest victim of playing too much football over the past couple of years... Defo WC hangover with him in terms of form and then injuries. Dembele has been BY FAR the biggest lose..... Even as his body failed him he still had the ability to retain possession in good areas and shift it on to the likes of Eriksen, Dele and Sonny where they could hurt the opposition. Winks is tidy, usually from deeper positions and sadly Sissoko, while being a good athlete has no football ability. Running the length of the pitch only to do nothing with it and then pass it backwards or sideways doesn't help, Its why his goals & assist numbers are so poor. While much improved, he must be incredibly frustrating to play with as he cant see a run or execute a pass that puts a team mate in a dangerous position. I fear he'll get found out over 2 games Vs a midfield like City's

Sissoko is by far the weakest midfielder of any of the Top 6 who plays regularly. If reports are true that we would consider offers for him this summer. I doubt there would be interest from any of the top 10 in England. Would expect him to go back to France (ex PSG, and the rest are irrelevant) Hes not as good as Decoure at Watford, & not good enough to start at Wolves or Everton
