Owls V Forest Match Thread

It's very important that who ever Mon picks tomorrow puts in a better performance than we saw on Saturday; otherwise fans will think that the players aren't playing for the manager.

Wednesday were drawing until Villa scored two late killer strikes.

'Two goals in added on time from substitute Albert Adomah and Abraham inflicted the maiden defeat of Bruce's Wednesday reign. It also sentenced the Owls to their first loss on home soil in more than four months.

It was a cruel way for Bruce and Wednesday to lose their unbeaten run.

The Owls laid siege to Villa's goal in a one-sided second half, outplaying the in-form team in the division for long periods. Villa struggled to get out of their own half.

Not only did Wednesday go toe-to-toe with a top side, they should have been out of sight after creating a number of good chances in an enthralling contest. Steven Fletcher's missed penalty proved very costly.'

So the score line fails to reflect the performances of the two sides.

Can we get anything from the game, will it make much difference to our season, apart from keeping the fans off O'Neill's back?

I doubt MON will last as long in charge as Pearce did. This is yet another horrible, feeble performance.

We couldn’t win an argument atm, never mind a football match.

Sorry, I would have loved it for either Psycho or MON to have succeeded at Forest but it obvious neither are going to make it. On another thread it was asked if MON would be manager next season, atm it is looking very unlikely.

So next season then lads. Automatics for both of us?

The performances are the most worrying thing.

At least with karanka we always looked good even when we lost. Atm we look like a bottom 3 team.

Progression is lacking and questions will start to be asked if he is the right person to be manager next season.

Relegation Wellies for both of us with new managers at the helm?

I'm only laughing cos it's not beyond the realms of possibility.
