Last night I decided to give the

Man United v Barca game a miss, and instead watch Ajax v Juventus. I have to say this Ajax side are a seriously good side, the best I think I have seen this season anywhere around Europe. They didn`t get the win, but I think they completely outplayed Juventus, and wouldn`t be surprised if they get over the line in Italy, as they did in Spain last round. They play at such a high tempo, and are full on for the whole 90 minutes, with so many technical players able to move the ball around quickly. I really did enjoy watching them. They will have a very bright future if they can keep this set of players together, but sadly I think the vultures are already circling.

I would take practically any of that team I saw last night, some really stand out players on show. Frankie de Jong, what a player, Neres, de Light, Ziyech, etc. Even Tadic looks twice the player he was at Southampton. Absolute joy to watch. Ronaldo as well for Juventus, did absolutely nothing all match, but has this uncanny knack of scoring goals, he really always seems to produce on the big stage, although I think Messi is still a far better player, you simply cannot question the goals he has scored in the CL.

On another note, for those that could not get a ticket for Huddersfield, lots of tickets back on Ticket Exchange this morning. Not badly priced some of them either.

Be lucky.

Shame the other clubs are circling sandy and that includes us who have pinched some of their players down the years. Be nice to see a club like Ajax dominate and keep all their talent, but we all know money bags like City, Chelsea, Barca etc can’t accelt that and will poach anything that moves

To true Don. I still think they should bring in a Transfer ceiling, where all clubs are only allowed to spend so much every calendar year. It would stop all the lottery clubs, or clubs with all the money from hoovering up all the talent from clubs that are trying to progress and catch up. I hate the way that Man City and PSG have been elevated right to the top of the tree, just because they came into lots of money.

That's restraint of trade, so wont ever be allowed. Financial fair play, if enforced correctly, is the closest you would get

There has been strong links between Ajax and Spurs since the 70’s, mainly due to a mutual hatred of Feyenord and the fact there is a large Jewish following of both clubs

Yep. Infact, thet also call themselves "y!ds" too

Yep, quality side. I watched them to, but at same time you would class us as favourites if we were to get through tonight.
