Herrera’s departure

Simon Peach @simonpeach
#MUFC’s lack of communication with Ander Herrera has played a major part in his plans to leave. Herrera had been keen to stay but things went quiet regarding contract talks for three months around the start of the year – a time when he had two other offers on the table

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment is understood to have brought about a renewed push from #MUFC to agree terms with Herrera. But it looks to have been too little, too late - despite United being willing to shell out a large amount per week

So then, if this is true then it’s just like what some posters were saying last night. United had seen Herrera wasn’t a regular under two managers, and didn’t value him as highly until Ole took the wheel.

That’s when they resumed contract talks again and seem to have increased the wages. I have been a harsh critic of Ed and the running of this club, but I don’t think you can blame him for Herrera leaving here.

Henderson is a litmus test as to whether people know their football or not.

Same types used to slate Deschamps, et al.
