It is being reported that Liverpool are in advanced talks to secure a long term new kit deal with Nike, which is set to eclipse Manchester Uniteds £750 million pound deal with Adidas.
Liverpools current £450 million deal with New Balance is set to expire next year, and after talks with Adidas and Puma, a long term deal with Nike is close.
This deal would probably see Liverpool with the 3rd most valuable kit deal in world football, behind Barcelona, and Madrid.
Happy days.
Liverpool kit deal.

Hope they design you some sort of horrible mash up kit like the top they did for City recently.

Apparently New Balance can extend by matching any offer from other kit providers. Let's hope they do as I have really liked our Warrior/New Balance kits.

“Hence the argument for shorter 5-year deals that are easier to buy off to keep up with the market standard.”
Would kit manufacturers see that as beneficial to them though? If a club can buy themselves out of a 5 year contract, 5 years isn’t that long, then manufacturers won’t feel like they’ve got a secure contract and revenue prediction.

Read that again because it does not make sense
