English managers !

What is it with English managers ?,we occupy places 12th ,13th,14th ,17th, 18th, and19th in the P/L ,and BR, who is N/Irish, sits in 7th place.
Why are we lagging behind the Spanish,Italians the Argentinians etc etc .
Why are their no English /British managers in Spain Portugal,Italy Germany etc etc ?.
Is it our culture ,nature, education or the FA , just a thought.

If any English manager managed Man City they would still be top of the tree. Question is would Pep keep a side like Cardiff in the Premiership. Works both ways.

The answer is NO

City brought in Toure and Silva in the summer following Hughes' sacking. And then Aguero the summer after.

Let's not pretend Mancini didn't have a better set of players to work with.

Mark Hughes is also Welsh not English

Talking of Eddie Howe, I think he owes it to himself to have a try at a bigger club,no disrespect to Bournmouth .

English managers play boring outdated transparent football which the foreign managers can usually outplay.

It's 2019, and even mid-table clubs like like West Ham and Newcastle can now afford to cast their eye abroad and hire ex-Real Madrid managers.

Market forces and all that.

We once had Mark Hughes. He kept us in 5th.
Mancini came in the next season and we won the FA cup.
To suggest that any English manager would keep City at the top is not correct.

Spurs got rid of an English manager (Tim Sherwood) too before Poch. How far did he go and why did you get rid of him if "If any English manager managed Man City they would still be top of the tree"

Hughes did not have anywhere near the sort of players that Guardiola has at his disposal. Neither did he spent as much.

Pep could improve any of the Top 6 clubs, he is the best the world and improves those players willing to listen and learn. Whether many players in clubs at the bottom of the table would be able to grasp the complex patterns he sets up and have the skill to perform them is a moot point.

Football, is not rocket science ,is It ?

It isn't, but players need to be willing to learn and to have the skills to apply the techniques, or else the likes of Warnock would be winning the PL rather than being relegated every time.
