"Ronaldinho, meanwhile, has also backed Tottenham to go all the way to the final.
Spurs take on favourites Manchester City at the Etihad on Wednesday night holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg.
Pep Guardiola’s quadruple-chasing outfit are still expected to go through.
But Ronaldinho insists Mauricio Pochettino’s side could be the dark horses of the competition."
Barcelona legend Ronaldinho is backing Spurs
He added: “Why can't Spurs win the Champions League?
“Because they don't have the history in the competition - or because they have never won it before?
“Every team who has won the Champions Leauge had to win it for the first time once.
“Their result against Manchester City, who are one of the best teams and have some of the best players in the competition, showed that they can compete with the best.
“At this stage they will believe they can go all the way - and if they play as they can then maybe they will."

IF we can get past City, there's not reason why we can't beat Ajax or Juventus.
I'm praying for a Tottenham Ajax semi-final
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd honestly rather face Juve than Ajax
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because it would make for a bigger tie or you think Ajax are the bigger threat?
Surely not the latter?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ajax are an excellent side, they should have beaten Juventus first leg, do not be surprised if they turn this tie around. Juventus are not that good, and Ronaldo, his goal aside, did very little of note. He just has this uncanny knack of scoring goals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree with here. From what I have seen of Ajax they look excellent. Not too sure if I'd like to come against them with their pace and movement
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They are the one side left that I would not want Spurs to face, they are absolutely full on at you for the whole 90 minutes. If they were to keep this side together, which they probably will not, they would almost certainly be winning the CL in the coming year or so.
That said a semi-final between Spurs and Ajax would be brilliant, and I think the fans of both clubs get on very well, so would be like one big party.

If you knock City out of Europe and beat them in the league I will have spurs as my second team and I will be extremely nice to all of you
If you lose in the league I will carry on hating you all

Ideal, assuming the other three (Chelsea, United, Ars) also drop points over the weekend

I would much rather face Ajax than Juventus. Ronaldo has made the knock out stages of the CL his hunting ground. I think they will win this week and he will be on the scoresheet again.

Until Spurs are holding that trophy, I just can’t bring myself to think we will win it. We are capable of beating anyone on our day as proved with City, but it’s when it truly matters do Spurs end up f*** it up in true Spurs fashion. Even if we got to the final, I still wouldn’t believe we would win it. Spurs just don’t do trophies it’s a well known fact. Let’s just get passed City first hey

Winning trophies is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman.
Your first time will be amazing and one of the happiest days of your life but it’ll end prematurely. The more you do it the better you get and easier you find it.

That’s what I have always said. That’s why it’s so important for this Spurs side to win a trophy, even the league cup. Winning breeds success and Spurs really need to start winning stuff:

Then there are those that are not naturals and have to pay for it to get good at it and be told they are good at it, and boast about it afterwards.

Come on people, we have been here so many times before. This team just don’t have it in them to win when it really really matters, especially in a game as big as the Champions league quarter final. Don’t let the hope kill you again!
