that one big signing

who do we need?

rumours that Ole will have around 200 million plus any outgoings to spend in the summer, so there will be money to splash out on at least one big signing and maybe a few squad adjustments.

so what do we need?

i was watching city yesterday and while their squad is quality, for me Sterling is the reason they are top of the league, which goes to show one top class player can make all the difference.
without him this season in my opinion they would be trailing Liverpool by quite a few points.

obviously the fullback area is a bit of an issue as is the cm position, but the likely majority of cash spent you would think would be in a position that would make us more threatening going forward.

people have talked about the likes of Sancho and hudson odoi, and while they could go on to have great careers, are they really ready to be thrown into the Utd starting 11 and make things happen?

so who is out there that we could realistically buy to take us to that next level?

Could say that but change sterling to aguero, as well as sterling has done this season his goal involvement is the same as agueros

but you would expect that of Augero, you'd expect that goal Tally.

Sterling this season for me has been the main difference between city being top and city being second.

Looking at their squad I think Ederson us their most important player tbh as their back up is rammal. Id have Laporte or Fernandinho 2nd too.

Nothing is more important than fixing the RB situation at the moment.

Don't think that TFM has ripped up any trees at Fulham. Dalot is still raw. Wan-Bissaka has been linked but is it wise to have 2 inexperienced battling it out for RB?

Surely suggestions of Bale are tongue in cheek - He would just be a continuation of all that is wrong with recruitment since SAF left.

Even Robb isn't serious with this sheite

The absolute priority signings that we need to look for an established player are:

RW
RB
CM

Another attacker who offers quality back up would be ideal. I'm less convinced we need to sign a CB as urgently as the other positions and would like to see Tuanzebe promoted to the squad. If a lower cost, experienced player like Alderweireld should be available then it's a no brainer I suppose.

Any team would be worse off with their second top scorer not being counted

I'm with Diafol, indeed have said before. Another RVP would gloss over other areas.
Then a RB and box to box midfielder. No idea who though, but hope the club know.

Any idea how Tielemans is doing at Leicester? Was quite impressed a couple of years ago when we played Anderlecht.

I think we should make a cheeky bid for Mahrez. He isn't getting enough game at City and they are probably going to buy 2 attackers in the window like every year. He is muck better suited to us, PL proven and would be great in our RW while allowing room for the likes if Chong to come in. Probably get him for under £40m too.

Leaves cash to to splash on the CF, CB, RB and CB

Mahrez £45M
Neves or Saul £50-70M
Alderwield £25M
Icardi/Dybala/Jao Felix £50-80M or £+lukaku
RB -maybe we can swap Sanchez for Meunir
