Like I said, I can't remember him ever making a post mocking either tragedy. I saw him making posts criticising United but never directly either hillsborough or Munich. I've just looked back through his articles again and the only one I found about hillsborough was the below, and I remember him being very vocal about his feelings about the Sun too

He also posted an article about a minute after his comment that got him banned applauding the decisions for people to go on trial for Hillsborough, or one of them being found guilty, don’t remember which.

Whether he was trying to cover himself or he’s just got multiple personality disorder, I don’t know.

I think he realised he shouldn't have posted what he did as soon as he'd pressed send.

I've already said, I thought that comment alone deserved a ban. I don't think it's right to make it out as something it wasn't at the same time though

He should be allowed back to either to justify his comments (whatever they were) or apologise.

If everyone who made a comment that somehow offended someone got banned then the only person left would probably be Hafi.

I get it, I did think at the time though there was a fair amount of double standards going on with what's allowed to be commented on and used as an insult and what's not though. I think strength in numbers plays a part in that.

What do you mean by double standards? What else happened at the level of what LQ was doing in order for it to be double standards?

Perhaps you can mention a few examples which are equal or tantamount to LQs mocking of disasters?

Sorry, only just saw that. I don't really see this as a scale, nor do I want to turn it into a "look at what this poster said". I've seen more than a few posts that personally I considered blatant racism that I thought was deserving of a ban. I didn't complain about it though (I don't think I've ever used that button!) so it's equally my fault for not saying anything about it at the time.

I don’t think he was a bad guy at all. Just over the past year or so always seemed to get dragged into mud slinging matches with rival fans which usually ended up with neither side coming out of it smelling of roses. I’m happy to pass time on here with trivial t!t for tat cr4p with any of you, but always seemed to go a bit further whenever loz posted anything and I’m not convinced that was always his own doing. Haven’t seen him directly mock either of the tragedies mentioned, but in fairness there are a lot of you saying he has - there have been users in the past, and 100% on the old bbc forum, who have and they have rightly, always been outed and booted so I’m not sure he would of lasted 8 years if this had been going on the whole time.

Yeah he was point scoring using tragedies on a regular basis. To say it was on a daily basis is perhaps an exaggeration but sometimes it did feel like it.

Just generally a juvenile scuumbagg that the site is better off without. Good riddance.
