Also we actually did a good performance against Barcelona. People always love to ignore all the chances we missed over the 2 legs. Over the 2 legs it was as even as it was. In fact I thought we outpressed Barcelona over the 2 legs which is main reason why both sides had 19 shots each and its frustrating we gifted 3 goals.

Yeah, generally missed chances are ignored compared to goals. Funny how that happens. It's almost as though the aim is to score more than the other team. Crazy I know! It's not the MissedChancepions League Hafi

So if Dalot took his chance and Rashford in the 1st leg as well as Martial took his chance early and Smalling didn't scoop it over at end we could have had a few goals on top of the early freekick that just went wide.


2nd leg Mctominay was in but messed up a long with that easy Rashford chance he hit the bar with and then Pogba shoots when we had a great chance of an attack to score. 2nd half Sanchez chance slightly more to the right and its a goal.

We gifted them a few goals as well. I wouldn't call both teams having 19 shots with Man Utd missing most of the best chances of the 2 legs as outclassed. Its just they finished better.

I do watch the games actually. We have had the 3rd most shots on goal this season which makes our position in the league a false one due to keepers having the games of their lives against us.

Barcelona had 1.32 expected goals in 2nd leg and less than 1 in 1st leg.

Which is why "expected goals" is a meaningless metric. If you watched the game with your eyes and analysed it with your brain then you'd have seen that Barcelona were vastly, vastly superior.

Man Utd have more expected goals per match most matches in our losses than Barcelona had over 2 legs against us.

How are you trying to spin this as a positive for United? At best it shows they're gash at finishing, which is a bad thing.
