Sorry Liverpool fans, don’t go expecting any favours from us Saturday. Apart from the inevitable ‘after the Lord Mayors show’ syndrome, we are down to the bare bones squad wise, it’s ridiculous. Easy 3 points for City. In fact, now they’re out of the CL they are gonna be even more determined to retain their PL title - better chance of them winning all their remaining games now.

Imagine hoping your side rested players in the run in for top 4 qualification.

It's not like they're only point ahead of Chelsea in 5th or anything

Spurs fans need to be careful what they wish for

Thursday night against Austria Wien is still a possibility for them next season. They need to secure top 4 as winning the CL ain't no guarantee.

Imagine the euphoria now and ending up facing Astra Googoo next season on a Thursday night.

In fact, if Spurs lose to City, they will drop more points afterwards as they will prioritise the Ajax games. They'll finish outside the top 4 and hoping they win their first CL title just to stay in the comp.
