Milner would be a brilliant signing regardless of being leeds or not.

Think the fact that we are Leeds means we could get him though. Couldn't see him going to another promoted club.

Cook is out of our league at the moment. If he leaves Bournemouth should be for a top 6 cub. That won't happen yet but why leave Bournemouth who play nice football, good manager and good players.

I can't see Danny Rose wanting to come back or having any loyalty to Leeds, but we do need a left back desperately.

Would love to have Delph back but why would he want to come back at this stage?

Nothing with the romance in football, especially if it means we can attract players who otherwise would be out of reach. Can't let it cloud our judgement though. First and foremost the player needs to be right for the time regardless of previous history.

Left Back is a position I am comfortable with Alioski having a run at.

Think without the injuries he would be a key player for them. With the injuries he has got a job on to work his way back into the team of course.

If I was him I would be focusing on doing that and getting some more England caps to earn a move to one of the top 6.

He's at a good club to make that step now. And despite injuries his ambitions should be to make it top 6 club given how good a player he is.

Looking at this thread then Leeds getting promoted should be good for the site.

James Milner’s career appears to be winding down at Liverpool but his energy level appears to almost match that of the Leeds players. A good preseason with Bielsa and he can be a star player at Leeds.

His contract at Liverpool is up at the end of this season. Be interesting to see how it all pans out.

Would like Milner and what about Howson, Snodgrass ? Or even Becchio, or Beckford !
