Let’s be honest, there isn’t one single Spurs fan that didn’t say “ oh typical Spurs “ when that Sterling goal went in. To go from the emotion of thinking you are out in the last min, to the pure ecstasy of going through after a correct decision went in our favour is the strangest but most brilliant feeling I have ever felt with Spurs.
God, we deserve that bloody break for once. If any club and set of supporters deserve a break, then it’s 100% us Spurs fans who have endured such bad luck for so many years. If any set of supporters deserved a few decisions that went our way and affected the outcome, then it’s us long suffering Spurs supporters.
Do I have to bring out the list of incidents and moments where we have felt deflated as Spurs fans? That being said, what a night!!! We are in the champions league Semi finals, let that sink in boys Thoroughly deserved over the 2 legs and to go to City with our injuries and still score 3
You all thought it

I turned off my telly and chucked my phone down and the wife asked what was wrong as she heard my Spurs supporting neighbour screaming. Told her we lost. My son then called his mum saying tell dad we won, he knew that I would have thrown my toys out of the pram! I ran downstairs and rewound the tivo to see it rightly ruled out for offside. Couldn't get to sleep after that. What a great game. Shame that a great many city fans are crying foul on the llorente goal. Bad bad losers.

Don I backed us and never once gave in, our fans have to realise that they bottle it before the players most of the time

I honestly think boys that would of been it for me had we gone out. To many disappointments and that would of been to much for me especially the manner of it. To go out the way we potentially could of gone out would of deflated me for the rest of the season. Thankfully that didn’t happen, get in there!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched 5 minute highlights this morning (not knowing the score) and even as an Arsenal fan went on a ridiculous roller coaster of emotions watching that short version of the game
Can't imagine what it would have been like for you guys

It was horrendous mate, I should be used to it, but it never gets any better. Thanks for you kind comments on Spurs by the way, you are a very fair supporter.

Half my family is Spurs so it probably helps (although for some it would probably have the opposite effect!). The way the club is going about their business is admirable, I have no time for a side like City whose success is a stain on football as a legitimate competition

I was in Ireland visiting family. I saw our second and third while outside having a smoke. They sent me our for the last five minutes thinking it would be good lick. We all know what happened next
