So, if Kane had played 180mins?

Would we have got through the 2 leg tie?
For me he is the better all round player than Son, but I actually think Son is the best finisher at our club. Kane great striker, holds ball up, great passer of the ball, drops deep to involve others, hence he is so important to our team, but for me Son finishing is more clinical.
Would we have gone through on aggregate playing Kane up front? I honestly don’t think so. Game would have been more laboured, slower. Our pace up front with Moura and Son really helped last night.,
We are so so lucky to have them both in our team, but so unlucky that they’ll both be missing against Ajax (1st leg).

Anybody that thinks that Spurs are better without Kane, needs seeing a fella in a white coat.

Strangely, and as strange as it sounds, I have to agree with the OP. The two goals that Son scored would have been positions where Kane would naturally occupy. Would Kane have scored from where Son was positioned for the second goal on current form? Don’t think he scores like that.

In all honesty, I find these “when Kane is out, we play better articles” an absolute joke. When our best player is out, we improve . However, you can’t help but feel that there is a bit of a pattern starting to develop. Maybe, we should drop him deeper and tinker with the formation during pre-season I don’t know. It’s all a bit odd really

Your best team front three are Son Kane Moura.

Kane for the link up play, Moura and Son for the pace and finishing. This is similair to our front three.

I think Kane just needs dropping to the bench now and again to rest him instead of running him in to the ground and playing him every game.

Why is it always a comparison?

We're lucky to have two of the best finishers in world football at our club

We need to improve our midfield so that Kane doesn't need to drop so deep all the time. As useful as he is there, I prefer when he's up front in positions to score.

I don't really agree that Son is the better finisher, but that aspect of his game may have improved this season.
