Jack Stamps First XI

3-4-1-2

.......................Poom....................................
......... Wright.....Mckay......McFarland..........
McMinn......Idiakez.....Gemmill.........Powell.
......................Kinkladze...............................
.................George........Hector.....................

George Williams for Idiakez in away games and not sure about Tin Man on the right but give it a shout, maybe an in inverted Tommy Smith or try Mark Wright on the right (see what I did there) and put Craig Short or Laursen in. Didn't see James play not sure if he could have pushed Powell for a place.

Goddard for Kinkladze even though Goddard didn't get player of the year. Deano and Davison for George and Hector. Huddz and Idiakez could duke it out too.

I’ve changed my mind about Keogh, I’ll go for Mark Wright instead.

Prone to the odd poor challenge, he'd get sent off usually, Mark Wright was the best centre half I have ever seen in a Derby shirt.
I loved Dean Saunders, Phil Gee, Bianno, Kinky, Stimac, McMinn,(I was there when he scored on his debut) Wanchope. I've been privileged to see so many great players. Now there's Keogh and Tom Lawrence. How times have changed.

Yeah that was when I first started watching AJ:

Goddard,Hebbard, Shilts n Deano.

Remember when we had the dream team too. Went yet usual way it does when we come into money.

I actually think Keogh’s improved this year. Lawrence I think would benefit from a team that can win the ball back.

Do you think players from the past tend to improve immeasurably the older we get? 🤔

Can speak about footie View, but certainly with regards to bike racers, "the older they get the faster they were" rings true, except in my case, where it's "the older they get the fatter they are".............

The team when I started to go regularly were:

Matthews

Richardson..................Daniel

Webster....Saxton.....Waller

Hughes...Hector...Buxton/Thomas...Durban...Hodgson

They weren't much good, but improved when BC had time to sort thing out. Hope FL gets time and has the same effect.

Hughes is wearing well VC.

No Scouse, that was his grandad. Ian Buxton was great uncle to Bucko and Hodgson was the father of Woy.

Kevin was the King and we got to the top.
