to play Bournemouth on Monday 6th May, just two days before the 2nd leg of the semi-final with Ajax on Wednesday 8th May. Surely the Bournemouth game will have to be moved back to it`s original date Saturday 4th May, afterall it was only moved at the request that it be shown on TV.
Cannot be right that Spurs would be expected to play two vital games in three days. If so would be totally ridiculous. TV cannot be allowed to scupper Spurs season.
I see that Spurs are still scheduled

Absolute nonsense if Spurs are made to play on that soon before the CL game.
Regardless of personal bias, the FA should be helping Spurs and Liverpool get to the final with any means they have at their disposal.
Hopefully the post above is accurate and the fixture is being moved.

Don’t be silly. The FA need to conspire against Spurs and Liverpool if anything

I just looked at the odds and Spurs are still 4/1 outsiders to win the CL with Ajax 7/2. Ajax are also favorites to win over 2 legs. I want to believe the bookies know something but surely there is more value in backing Spurs than Ajax?

Both ties are 50/50 to me mate. Any of the four teams could reach the final. To close to call.
I took 25/1 each way on Spurs winning the CL way back, and also 14/1 on Ajax, so it is a win/win for me, but obviously I want a Spurs win.

I must admit I backed Spurs before the City game at 19/2 as a small consolation prize to compensate for the unthinkable happening. I also think Liverpool will get past Barca so this place should be interesting should that happen

I would actually have Ajax favourites over spurs.
They have a quality squad where we have a depleted over played squad.
For us to go through we have to win the first leg which will be difficult without either Son or Kane playing

Ajax have been playing catch up in the league all season. And the last 2 CL ties they have been too. I would imagine mentally and physically they are shattered. The league will probably go down to the final day for them and considering they haven’t won a league title in 5 years they will be desperate to win that too. Can see them choking against Spurs

I have been saying for ages that Ajax are the best club side I have seen this season. That said obviously I want Spurs to win, and I think they will just get over the line over the two legs, even with the injuries. Maybe I have been a tad over the top about Ajax, I watched Napoli last night, who I also thought they were half decent, and frankly they looked no better than a middle to lower down Prem side, they were so average. Sometimes I think we get a bit carried away with how much better foreign sides are than the English ones.
The way this CL campaign has gone, sometimes you think your name is just on the cup.

I have a Spurs v Barca final. My best mate reckons it's going to be Ajax v Liverpool. The fact that they've beaten Real and Juve makes them probably more fancied than you guys.

Good point but still see it at best 50/50.

Problem is TV pay so much to the PL of broadcasting rights and they (sadly) dictate the schedule. We have the best and most competitive league in world football with global audiences.
He who pays the piper calls the tune
But hopefully common sense will prevail
