Nottingham Forest who hadn't won in 5 games and manager on the verge of being sacked.

Stoke who had lost 5 in a row I think.

QPR lost 7 in a row.

Birmingham lost 5 in a row.

Wigan 1 away win all season.

It's bizarre. Some of those can be explained - Forest we had a man sent off and Birmingham were never as bad as that run and were unlucky to have lost some of those games.

Bigger picture though is 3 losses in first 23 games. 8 losses in the second 20 games.

We give teams too much hope, once one can see how to play is they all try it. Telling comments from Wigan players yesterday about our defence.
