The players aren’t playing for Ole

Massive teamtalk from him because what we have here are what we’ve seen from the last three managers - players picking and choosing when to play and put effort in.

Ole seems like a great guy and will always be a club legend but can he motivate these players past that initial ‘thank God Jose has gone’ stage?

Can anyone honestly say other than DDG any of these players are irreplaceable? We are a long way from the SAF days.

OGS been done by bad officials in this losing run as well and keeper howlers. If todays ref and linesmen don't get demoted after massively helping Everton then its a farce.

Ole might not even get that much time.

I think he will. The fans won't turn on Ole and Ole won't sour the mood in the way that Mourinho did. And frankly, he needs time.

Having a coaching staff of actual United men (Ole, Carrick, Phelan) is one of the few things about our post-Fergie era recruitment that is actually worthy of some praise. Now it has to be seen through.

Klopp took a few seasons to get this Liverpool team where he wanted it. Sarri has had a tough spell. Pochettino didn't transform Spurs overnight. We're where those teams were a few seasons ago.

Robb they scored 2 goals that would have been disallowed with VAR and we had a clear pen denied and Pickford also took our player outside box.

Those managers are all respected in the game. Ole is a punt. A guy who hasn’t really done much in his managerial career to survive a probable non top 4 finish next season at a time when the moneymen at United judge that as a yardstick got keeping a job

The top 4 finish failure is Mourinho fault.

Only 1.52 expected goals against but we conceded 4 goals and 2 bad decisions.

I think they're not playing for the tactical approach, Robb.

It was the same under Mourinho. Then look why happened when Ole let them off the leash in his first ten games: we saw smiles, passion, workrate, determination, togetherness.

Now they've been forced back into their shells by a tactical backtrack, and again they look disinterested and are playing within themselves.

He's done more in the game as manager than Guardiola or Zidane had done before they were given the keys to the Nou Camp & Bernabeu.

That said, like everyone else, I've little faith that Woodward et al have any real clue what they're doing from a football side of things. We should have a DoF in place already given that the season is nearly over and decisions about summer targets will be getting made as we type.

Jose's fault they got hammered today?

Jose fault for top 4 as if he didn't have our worst record in PL era when he got sacked we would be in a much better position. The current run under OGS was near the norm before Mourinho sacking.
