For me if we win our next 2 league games ( Brighton home Tuesday and Westham home Saturday, we pretty much have secured top 4. Regardless of chelsea’s result tomorrow v Burnley, we will have a game in hand on them so only temporary could they go above us. Win at Brighton and we are back to 3rd.
United have City and Arsenal have Wolves away midweek, so you would think 1 of these are likely to drop points. Weekend we have Westham, whilst Arsenal have Leicester away. No way are Arsenal getting 6 points from those 2 away games so they will drop points. United have Chelsea so one of those are dropping points to.
Win our next 2 and I think top 4 is secured. This is a massive week for the club league wise, then it’s onto that small little fixture - Spurs v Ajax - CL semi finals
Next 2 games - vital

What we should do and what we actually do are often very different things. We have an opportunity to win the Champions League and finish 3rd in the PL. We arealso at risk of finishing 5th and trophieless.
I don’t get why people are saying beat Brighton and West Ham and we are there; currently 3 points separates 3rd from 6th with equal games played all round. For me, we need 9 or 10 points and nothing less, especially if as I suspect arsenal win their next few games and Chelsea beat Burnley and beat Utd.

Because Arsenal are not winning their next 2 mate against Wolves and Leicester away. United will most certainly drop points against City and Chelsea. Chelsea could also drop points v United. Win our next 2 we are home dry in my opinion.

Ace, obviously need maximum points if possible to absolute guarantee top four, but those two defeats by Arsenal and United help immensely. Brighton is a nailed on three points, West Ham not so much, but should still be taking six points. Been given a massive boost by the surprise defeat of Arsenal, need to grasp it with both hands now.

Doubt Burnley will win, but we cannot have everything, two out of three will do. The aim is just to finish top four, whether 3rd or 4th is immaterial, only for bragging rights.

Sandy, even if Chelsea win, we still have 3rd in our hands. Our game against Brighton will be our game in hand. Win that and we are back to 3rd with 3 games to go. 3rd is all in our hands.

Phenom, won’t be easy but we got the home feeling and form back like white hart lane. It ain’t Wembley anymore thank god.
