He's definitely not having his best season for us that's for sure. Probably his worst since his debut season in fact. However the man has held our pub standard defence together almost single handedly for nearly 6 years.
The man is an absolute saint for staying around this long when we are honest with ourselves. He's one of the best keepers in the world and he's not been involved in a title race now since 2013. Not surprised his form has dropped a bit. He can't carry us forever.
Also he's been voted our best player of the season almost every year since Fergie left too which speaks volumes about the man's character. He's been one of our greatest ever signings and the club and Woodward in particular has badly let him down with mistake after mistake after mistake.
If he leaves this summer and comes back to OT with his new club at some point he'll get a standing ovation from every fan in the ground bar none.
How many of the current squad would you be confident of getting the same? Struggling to name one other.
If he's got any sense he'll really push for his move this summer. He might not be on his best form but form is temporary and the man is class. End of.

If we are going to move forward, we also need to look at strengthening the GK position.
DeGea has not looked right for us or Spain.
Right now there are no Ferdinands or Vidics about so we need a different type of keeper.
De Geas starting position and refusal to come off the line when there is a corner or set piece is a problem

Quality goal keeper who is having a dip in form for what seems like ages since the last time - which happened when he first stared here.
The guy has incredibly held his own upto his high standards for what seems like forever. Keeping together a shabby defence that let him down time and time again.
I don’t blame DDG. The club’s problems lie much deeper than with him. He’s just not mentally here lately, and to be honest who can blame him?
