I could coach a team to beat Leeds.

It's quite simple and it happens time and time again. We outplay most teams in this division and there's not many that can stick with us and play at our tempo. However at some point it all breaks down and teams beat us on the counter attack.
So you pack defence and midfield because for all of the possession we cannot unpick a solid defence. Wait for a mistake or Pontus blundering upfield playing for himself and not the team and as long as you have a Maupay or a Massey you stand half a chance.
Bielsa has worked wonders but in some areas we are shocking, all well and good dominating games but I think teams have sussed us out. Try to play us at our game and most teams cannot compete. Defend and hit us on the counter and we are stuffed.

Bielsa strikes me as someone who simply does not lie.

He was asked if pressure affected the players and he responded:

"But if there’s something I can say for sure it’s that our team was never affected by pressure. Really never."

It's not a case of perception, you either believe he's lying or you don't.

Personally I believe he's not lying, but maybe not as in tune with how the players are feeling as he thinks he is.

2nd place is still to play for.

Then if that fails, playoffs. Season is FAR from over and fans and players need to pick themselves up and get going again, we can't afford anymore fluffing chances.

Roofe needs to be fit
Clarke needs to be fit

Shooting practice and PENALTY practice all week!

Largely agree with you. I do for the most part think he's a very honest guy. Sometimes even "honest" people need to be discreet and mindful of just what truth they can divulge.

I think your last sentence is probably closer to the truth.

I agree, but Bielsa is not the norm, he's a stickler for integrity.

I will eat half of a paving slab if Ipswich and Stoke both draw to the Blades and we beat Villa

Bielsa has worked wonders, but in the end, with limited resources we have been found out.

I think he will have to go at the end of the season as I see us being "asset stripped" by PL/clubs going up and there not being any money for new players.

I've felt for a long time that this season was the season that would decide if we would become a big club again. Radz blew it by not strengthening in Jan and us relying on a L1/2 striker to try and score goals.

Sad times.
