So the rumour mill is in full swing with Real Madrid supposedly interested in Pogba.
They have a bit of a rebuilding job to do themselves, so why on earth would they want Pogba? To me he would be one of the last pieces to a football jigsaw that you would buy, that luxury item.
They have far more pressing issues than a midfielder who only plays when he feels like it.

With Ronaldo gone, they simply haven't had a player that drags them through games to grind out results when they need them most. Can't see Pogba being that influential over there.

That is why I think they need quite a few other players before they think of Pogba.
Modric is 33, as is Ramos. Marcelo is 30, Benzima 31 and quite a few more on the wrong side of 20.

I am sure that the Madrid board watch United games too and they must get to see just how good Pogba actually is for themselves.
If they buy him they will also need a longterm, quality winning/battling type CM to carry Pogba through games when he goes missing.

Not buying this Madrid rumour at all. They're in the same situation as us but in a less competitive league.
The only lure for them is the city and Zizou. Is that enough?

Same could be said for us too. A reliable goalscorer would hide a multitude of sins in our team. It wouldn't solve everything of course but it'd be a start.
