Anyway it’s all good now. I was just really happy that we showed character after the disappointment last weekend. Bodes well for the playoffs.

Also play Roberts on the left. If Bamford gets a two game ban then draft in Edmundson.

Good to see Bogusz on the bench too.

Looks like Dallas is injured though.

I have no doubt he will get two games but then again what about the punch on Klich?

We are Leeds though so only us will get punished I imagine.

Not sure why players do stupid things with all the cameras these days. Bamford is an intelligent guy so I can only assume he simply lost it for that split second.

Not acceptable at all - he’s let the fans, his fellow players and the club down big time and should apologise and get a fine from the club.

For the players. If you do what Pontus did, defend the goal, as he should. You should be punished for not listening to you manager. But if you go forward and score you be forgiven.

I think Bielsa has actually been quite smart about this. Not sure he would give them the goal if we were fighting for 2nd still.

I was thinking the same thing. All this sentiment of being a "gentleman" is somewhat arbitrary.

Football has rules for a reason and kicking the ball out to stop play is not one of them. Often players sit down because of a physical injury(?), usually muscular conditions, at a time when the opposition is on the offensive and the game is stopped for no serious reason..

I agree that the game should immediately be stopped in the case of head injuries, but for all other situations, the officials should make the call. This takes the burden from the shoulders of the players.

Only the officials and they alone can stop the game. The players should play until the whistle go.
If you are in an offside position, you don’t stop if there is no whistle

What started this all off. Probably ref not giving a foul against the injured player for trying to win the ball or tackle Cooper the way he did. The ref could have stopped the game himself if he thought the injury was bad enough, but he didn't. Leeds players could have kicked the ball out, but played to the whistle and scored. The Villa players reacted in an aggressive way and that's where the fracas kicks off. So the lad grabbing Klich in a threatening way should have the same ban as Bamford for starting the whole affair. There are correct ways to protest or deal with things and Villa decided it would be aggressive. And Leeds dealt with it and resolved the situation....If the FL start going into details by video, they may have to deal with more than just Bamford.

This is doing the rounds but I doubt anything will come of it but, how about Hurihane punching Klich after the game and using Grealish as cover!
