He's got 5 this term hasn't he...it's not bad

Can't remember the last time we had such a lack of proper goalscorers in the side. Bringing some goalscorers into this team and squad has to be a priority if we can buy players this summer. Especially if our one and only goalscorer Hazard leaves.

Need a Lampard

I'm completely and utterly flummoxed as to how we are still in the running for C/l and a top 4 spot.,and also the ropey cup !

I don't for a second think we will get either,but if (and I hope) we do ,we will have surpassed all expectations from the beginning of the season !,how do you work that one out ?, <laugh>

well spurs have son dele ali og harry kane...guess what theyve scored 5 more than us in the premier league so it cant be that bad at all. utd have rashford Lukaku and Martialle guess what only 4 more than us. Arsenal have lacazette and Aubemayang have only score 9 more than us, so the picture you are painting isnt as bad as it could be

Lampard was a one-off. Not many teams have a central midfielder who can score like that. However, even a half-decent goalscorer would be an improvement on Kovacic. Kante isn't that player - although clearly he offers something that no other play can. But it's that other 3rd midfield position that has been so difficult to fill. Kovacic has got worse as the season has progressed. Barkley is generally awful - even though he has goalscoring potential. RLC is by far the best option of the 3 - although he has fitness issues. When he's on song though, he can be excellent. He could be the difference for us in this run-in.
