Doesn’t anyone think that whilst Williamson was the latest but yet another in the long line of awful defence secretaries; he is being stitched up here?

Nope. Trial by gutterpress.

Why not?

He’s just doing his job. Badly I agree but he’s not the first MP to be guilty of that.

Ginger, hard to say given what has been said. If we agree he's been stitched up then it's because of what he is claiming, and we then have to decide if he's a reliable witness.

There is also an argument that May is finally trying to look 'tough', but i find it deeply unlikely that she would move to so publically sack someone who has been sympathetic to her when she's got all manner of people sticking the knife in.

I think on the laws of probability he probably did it. But I suspect we'll never find out.

If he didn’t leak someone at the meeting did
They cannot be allowed to just close it down
If he’s innocent I’d imagine he will produce something and should be allowed to question the evidence
But let’s not pretend any of this is about the good of the country or the people it’s all about the party
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Then the evidence should be produced not sack the man and hide the “evidence”.

That’s punishing the individual from a part perspective. The individual has been subject to no more than a secretive kangaroo court.

I’ll remind you and everyone else about that when they whine about how any politicians aren’t doing what they want or indeed promised.

Don’t need reminding. They all tell porkies and break promises. It’s politics and it’s the same the world over.

Haha.

Just read this didn't know.

Defence Minster leaks Top Secret info.

Smarmy oily resole as well.

He is going to jail.

If this was 1917 he'd be shot by firing squad.

If it was 1943 he'd fall out an RAF Lancaster over the Channel.

M16 was around then.
